New Head Coach U16
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Woodstock Wolverines Welcome D.J. Sirois to Coaching Staff
Woodstock, ON — The Woodstock Wolverines Minor Football Association is proud to announce the addition of D.J. Sirois as Head Coach of the new U16 WOlverines team, bringing decades of elite playing experience, championship-level coaching, and a deeply rooted commitment to player development and mentorship.
Coach Sirois is widely respected for his belief that football is more than a game—it is one of the greatest mentorship platforms available to young athletes. His coaching philosophy centers on excellence in life, accountability, and the power of team. He believes every player has a role, every role matters, and true success comes from working together toward a shared standard.
An offensive-minded coach with a defensive mentality, Sirois is known for his attention to detail, innovative thinking, and relentless focus on execution. He is a coach who studies film obsessively, prepares thoroughly, and coaches to win—without favoritism. His offensive systems are built to maximize the entire roster rather than relying on a few star players, making his teams difficult to stop and adaptable in all situations.
What truly sets Coach Sirois apart is his unwavering respect and celebration of the offensive line. Often overlooked, he considers the O-line the heartbeat of any successful offense and ensures they are developed, valued, and recognized as the true superstars of the game.
“I am sold out to the idea of team,” says Sirois. “Football taught me that everyone matters, and that belief drives everything I do as a coach.”
